We Fika Films, LLC

Embracing the Swedish tradition of Fika — “A meaningful pause for reflection and connection.”

At We Fika Films, we boldly step into the independent film, television, and stage arena with a mission that is unique and unapologetic: to amplify women’s narratives and challenge storytelling conventions, all while embracing the Swedish tradition of Fika-“A meaningful pause for reflection and connection.”

We deeply respect and value women’s voices, fostering a culture where women are not only heard but also truly respected and appreciated. Every project we undertake is an opportunity to highlight authentic stories, spark meaningful conversations, and change how audiences experience women across all storytelling mediums.

Our work is rooted in excellence — creatively strong, intentionally crafted, and always respecting talent to its fullest. We are proud to produce high-quality projects under the SAG-AFTRA New Media Agreements, ensuring integrity and professionalism at every stage, giving our partners and audience confidence and trust.

Our Inaugural Project

With immense pride, We Fika Films unveils its first project: She Spoke, and Heaven Moved.

This original spoken word musical reimagines the lives of eight iconic women from the Bible through the perspective of modern African-American women. Combining spoken poetry, song, and movement, the production shares stories of resilience, faith, vulnerability, and transformation.

She spoke, and Heaven Moved is more than a stage production — it’s a cultural experience crafted to uplift women’s voices, connect generations, and remind us that when women speak… Heaven truly moves.
